What Does The Qualification Cover?

The Higher Apprenticeship provides the learner with a range of strategic administrative and management skills from budget management through to promoting innovation.

Qualification Gained:

Level 4 Diploma in Business and Professional Administration Level 4 NVQ Diploma in Business and Administration Functional Skills Level 2 in Application of Number, ICT and Communication

Who Is The Qualification Suited For?

This course is suited to those who lead or manage a team or are aspiring to move on to such a role.

What Are The Entry Requirements?

Candidates are required to have at least a Level 2 prior attainment (5 GCSE’s Grades A-C or equivalent). It is preferable that candidates have at least 1 years professional work experience.

How Is The Qualification Assessed?L4 HA

The assessor will come to the workplace and assist the candidate in portfolio building, planning and observations.

Do You Need To Be Working To Take The Qualifications?

Yes. Candidates must be employed in an office setting for at least 30 hours per week and should earn at least the minimum Apprenticeship salary of £3.30 p/hr and for those aged 19 or over in the first year of their Apprenticeship and applies to time working, plus time spent training that is part of the Apprenticeship.

How Long Will It Take To Complete?

The course will take approximately 12 months to complete.

What Can You Progress To?

Learners may progress onto leadership and management qualifications such as those offered by ILM, Foundation Degrees in areas such as Business, Business Management and Business Administration, Business and Management undergraduate programmes, a range of Business and Management Professional qualifications at Level 5 and above. Higher apprentices can progress to roles including operations director, business development manager and in to a wider range of managerial roles.

What Is The Course Cost?

Candidates aged 16-18 will be eligible for Full Funding for the cost of the course. Funding is available for those aged 19 and over please contact us for more information.
