What Does The Qualification Cover?

Our Customer Service Level 3 Diploma has been designed for learners to demonstrate a practiced set of skills when carrying out customer service operations including managing performance improvements in service delivery, customer satisfaction, customer loyalty and reliability. The qualification will develop the learners knowledge and understanding of customer retention and the principles of business.

Who Is This Qualification Suited For? 

The Level 3 will suit you if you have some experience in customer service and are able to handle more difficult customers. You are looking to improve your own skills and become more involved in making improvements to your team's level of customer service for defined service related activities within an area of responsibility. The course is suitable for those looking to progress in to a wide range of sectors including retail, financial services, hospitality, sport and recreation, telecommunications and travel and tourism.

What Are The Entry Requirements? Customer service

There are no formal entry requirements although candidates should have the ability to manage the requirements of the level of the qualification; candidates will be required to undertake the Initial Assessments before confirmation of place on course.

How Many Credits Are Required To Complete Them?

The course is made up of a number of Mandatory units supplemented by Optional units. Learners earn credits for each unit enabling them to meet the required number of credits to complete the course candidates have to complete a minimum of 65 credits. Units include: organise and deliver customer service, understand the customer service environment, resolve customers problems, principles of business, understand customers and customer retention and manage personal and professional development.

How Is The Qualification Assessed?

The assessor will come to the workplace to observe and assess the learner and assist them in portfolio building and planning. Some teaching will take place in the workplace. All Learners will attend a monthly class.

Do You Need To Be Working To Take The Qualifications?

Learners can either be employed or work voluntarily. We require learners to be in a placement for a minimum of 16 hours per week so we are able to come and assess you in the work place.

How Long Will It Take To Complete?

The course will take approximately 12 to 18 months to complete

What Qualifications Can You Progress To?

Candidates can progress on to a Level 4 NVQ Diploma in Customer Service, Level 3 Certificate in Principles of Management, Level 3 Diploma in Management and other relevant qualifications.

What Type Of Job Roles Can You Apply For On Completion?

These qualifications can help you get ahead in almost any industry, as good customer-service skills are essential for many jobs. Potential job roles for those working towards this this qualification are: Customer Service Supervisor/Team Leader, Events Co-ordinator, Customer Relationship Manager and Customer Service Manager.
