Our team is made up of a number of former Nursery Managers and Early Years Co-ordinators who have worked in and with a variety of settings and gained a wealth of knowledge between them. Whatever your needs are, we can find the right expert to offer you a personalised service.

Your nominated Consultant will work with you to prioritise your needs, put together an action plan and work with you through implementation.

EYFS Implementation:

Do you struggle with the improvised EYFS? Do you need to improve assessment, observation, planning and implementation? We can help you to take a look at your procedures with a fresh pair of eyes and work with you to set new systems in place. We can provide you with the paperwork you need in order to set up a robust development profile for each child in your care. We will work with your staff to ensure they fully understand not only the process but the importance of their role to the implementation of the EYFS.

Quality Improvement Support:

We will work with all your team to look at how you can improve the setting as a whole. This will include identification of areas of weakness, putting into place a focused improvement plan and monitoring and evaluating it’s implementation. Your Chiltern Training Consultant will guide and support you as you work together to make these important changes to your provision.

Post Inspection Support:

Should your Ofsted inspection highlight areas that you need to improve upon we will help you to put together a plan of action, and support you throughout this process to ensure that you fix your provision to meet your targets; getting you on the way to improving your grades in the future.

Pre Ofsted Inspections:

We will come into your setting and take a good honest look at your provision to identify areas of improvement prior to your inspection. We will check over your SEF and help you to put into place a plan for improvement. We will support you throughout the process as you put your plan into action.

Enabling environment:

We all know the importance of the environment for enabling our children to reach their maximum potential; what we offer and how it appeals to children is all important. You may need support to make the best of the resources you have; you may be on a limited budget or have restrictions on what you can do in your setting. Our consultants will come in and take a frank look at what you have, what your children are experiencing, what you are lacking and how you can improve across all areas without breaking the bank.

The Great Outdoors

You will be amazed at what you can achieve in a relatively small or difficult to work with area, even on a limited budget. Our consultants will take a look at what you have and what can be done, working with you to put together a plan that is realistic and SMART and has the principles of the EYFS at heart.

Working with Parents:

We all know the value of building and maintaining sound relationships with the parents/ carers of the children we care for.

Chiltern Consultants will lead a team meeting/training to highlight this to all your staff, ensuring they understand the benefits and also the key steps to building relationships with methods that will suit your setting.
