The advanced apprenticeship course is available for learners aged 16—24 years and is either completely or partly funded by the SFA.
Employers may be asked to pay an employer contribution for candidates over the age of 19.
Apprenticeships are based on achievement and not time serving. The apprentice’s Individual Learning Plan will specify a duration that allows the Apprentice a reasonable prospect of successful completion of the Programme. For Advanced Apprentices, this can be anything from 12 to 24 months. E-learning facilities and extra tutorials are available.
Candidates for this course are welcome with or without a work placement. Our dedicated admissions team will work with you to ensure you find a suitable position within one of our partnership nurseries and will support you in securing appropriate terms and conditions.
